VK2 on 20 meters tonight

worked Jason – VK2LAW – from Sydney in FT8 mode tonight. After a day with bad conditions its good to see that the things are working. Wkd him with 10 wats only, as usual for me in FT8/4 mode.

Antenna for 10 meters is up

Just finished the set of a vertical antenna for 10 meters. Hope to make some DX or short skip (sporadic E) contacts during my stay here on the island.

Taiwan on 15 meters

BV6KM came in my FT8 log toady afternoon with a nice signal on 15 meters. I used my vertical antenna and 10 watt only. Good propagation to asia today.
